Goodbye Paris, Hello Antibes!

After the constant bustle of Paris, the streets of Antibes feel deserted.



I was sadder than I expected to leave Paris: it may be noisy, dirty, crowded and constantly on the go, but there is something there that is captivating. There is something that catches your heart and makes you feel like you can do anything.


But then I arrived here.


My soul is singing today, I’m next to the ocean! And not just any ocean but one with mountains in the background and craggy rocks for the sea to splash over. So to give you an idea of what things look like now –

When you come up the stairs, we’re on the first floor:


And we even have a balcony:


I’ve spent the morning making the place feel like home with little slices of familiarity:

And doing a little bit of translation practice:


I think that this is going to be a success. 2013 – Bring it on!
