Time to Move Again.

All of Paris disappeared as if in an instant for Christmas. The streets are suddenly deserted and the constant traffic is taking a breather. I spend the day with friends playing monopoly and eating good food. We take a walk past the Eiffel Tower and across the Seine. I give gifts that look like this:

In return I am stocked up with tea, candles, and a cook-book/comic book in french.

And now I get ready to pack up my bags and move again. This time to a more permanent location. This time to a town that looks like this:

Before I go though it’s back to the forest for one more day of rock climbing, a few more pain au chocolate from my favourite Parisian bakery, and perhaps one more trip for the best falafel in town.

We’ll see each other next once I’m down south. Happy New Year.
