Hi World, don’t worry – things are looking up. I found pâte de coing at my fromagerie (it translates horribly into quince cheese, but is actually a very thick quince preserve that can be sliced with a knife). I’ve read about such a thing but never seen or eaten it. It’s delicious! I had it for breakfast on lovely fresh pain de cacoa with vanilla yogurt. It was a perfect.
And really, with a good breakfast, one can face anything!
